Cove lighting is a form of indirect lighting built into ledges, recesses, or valences in a ceiling or high on the walls of a room. This type of up lighting directs light to the ceiling plane from a cove or down adjacent walls to provide overall diffuse illumination.
It is also referred to as ambient luminescence. It may be used as primary lighting, or for aesthetic accent, especially to highlight decorative ceilings or plinth lighting. Linear lighting for interior or exterior use; surface and suspended solutions with maximum flexibility and superior quality for continuous homogeneous illumination.
